Simply put, we are two guys staying true to our name. We are sick of seeing other sites promoting local fights, but end up debating about the next UFC or WEC fight. MMA Fighter Challenge is bringing their event back to Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club and this event is fighting to make Babes and Brawls a staple event when in Chicago.
On Saturday June 26, Babes and Brawls III is set to kick off at 6:00 pm at one of Chicago’s premier Gentlemen’s Club. Aside from the obvious, the venue features something unique to amateur events….Luxury and Elegance. MMA Fighter Challenge is consistently bringing the best fighters from the Chicago areas growing pool of talent. This Saturday fighters from Carlson Gracie Team MMA, Team Archangel, Team Colon and Top Notch will enter the cage.
The Main Event features a Championship bout at 185 lbs. Brian Booth (6-1) who trains with Carlson Gracie Team MMA and is looking to KO his opponent Andrew “The Enemy” West (2-2). The Co-Main Event will feature Manny “Lil Macho” Comacho vs. Jay Herrera for the 135 lb Championship.
Women’s MMA is finally starting to be accepted by the main stream and Babes and Brawls III is bringing out one of Chicago’s own. Danielle Hobeika will make her debut Saturday against Danielle Carr of Team Archangel. If you are a local MMA fan, you’ve probably have seen Danielle Hobeika behind the camera taking photo’s of Chicago’s fighters. This time someone else will be taking photos as she attempts to bring home a win her first time competing in a cage.
If you were not in Indiana watching the local fights or at Excalibur in Chicago last Friday, you missed out on great MMA matchups.We were over at the Gary Railcats Steelyard Stadium attending the Hoosier Fight Club 4: Showdown at the Steelyard event, and it was amazing.From what we heard at the event, their next scheduled event will be on October 1, at the Star Plaza Theater in Merrilville, Indiana.Read More ...
